yay!!! Russ is having a show! 'bout time too. Some of his photos are much much better than mine.
That was a great opening for a wonderful show. Russell's photos are so beautifully considered in light and detail and composition. They are so soft. It's as if the mysteries of whatever past history he has encountered lie just below the surface, because the pictures are so probing and intense in their formal execution. Lyrical precision? They are engaging and mesmerizing plus an all round sampling of his trip outta here! Anybody who likes photography, history or South America should see these,already because they will love them.
